Water Quality Purification

Water Purification Group focuses on the principles and technologies in drinking water safety ensuring, the advanced processes for reclamation of municipal sewage, the methods for treatment of refractory industrial wastewater. Much effort has been devoted to mechanical study and technology innovation. The research field of Water Purification Group includes water sources protection, safe pre-oxidation process, enhanced coagulation technology, advanced purification process, and safe transportation & distribution system. The core objective of Water Purification Group is to investigate the water quality transformation processes during water treatment and to propose corresponsive strategies for water quality risk control. We are dedicated to developing scientific theories on the safeguard of drinking water quality.

●  Mechanisms involves in species transformation and strategies for treating processes control during oxidation and flocculation for drinking water treatment.

●  Strategies for water quality stabilization and secondary pollution control in drinking water distribution processes.

●  Strategies and technologies for pipeline leakage detection, advance warning, and control for drinking water distribution systems.

●  Innovative principles and novel technologies involves in oxidation, flocculation and adsorption processes for water treatment and purification.

●  Innovative principles and technologies based on electrochemical processes for water treatment.

●  Systematic integration and engineering demonstration of innovative technologies for water treatment.

●  Contaminants transportation and species transformation in natural aqueous environments.
